Who we are

A trusted platform at the intersection of academia, government, and global engagement.

An international not-for-profit consortium of educators, institutions, and government bodies preparing India's youth for the 21st-century global economy.

About GECF

The Global Education and Careers Forum (GECF) is an international not-for-profit consortium of educators, institutions, government bodies, and mission-driven organisations committed to preparing India's youth for the 21st-century global economy.

GECF's institutional credibility is reinforced by its founding and strategic partnerships with leading government and academic bodies. The Department of Collegiate and Technical Education, Government of Telangana, serves as a founding partner, reflecting strong public sector trust and alignment.

This foundation is further strengthened through collaboration with Osmania University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU Hyderabad), and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) — among India's most respected higher education authorities.

In parallel, GECF maintains strategic partnerships with globally respected organisations such as Campus France, Enterprise Ireland, and Global Wales. These alliances strengthen academic cooperation, facilitate institutional linkages, and create structured pathways connecting India's students and institutions with leading global education ecosystems.

Nearly 100 higher education institutions in India and internationally are part of the GECF consortium, creating a strong global network that promotes academic collaboration, student mobility, and institutional partnerships aligned with global standards and workforce needs.

Engage with the future of Indian higher education.

What we do

Bridges between India and the world — built for four distinct audiences.

GECF's work is organised around the four communities that make global academic engagement possible: students, the institutions that teach them, the universities that welcome them abroad, and the alumni who return to mentor the next generation.

For Indian Students

Pathways, scholarships and mentors — selected on merit.

GECF connects high-potential Indian students with international academic ecosystems through structured pathways, masterclasses with global faculty, scholarship access, and mentor networks built across nearly 100 universities worldwide.
